Take the scary out of life
When you’re properly insured you can relax and enjoy life a lot more. This truth led to us creating the ‘take the scary out of life’ campaign for Travelers Insurance. The campaign launched with a film showing life around a far less scary than normal watering hole in South Africa, which was then followed with product specific films centred on car and house insurance. An irony of filming the ‘take the scary out of life’ campaign is that filming the watering hole ad was seriously scary… a baboon came centimetres away from tearing the cameraman’s face off, when the lion came out everyone had a contingency plan of where to run, hide or climb to if he got through the very flimsy temporary fencing, and perhaps most scary of all was the head of catering, whose permanently weeping nose; the result of being unsuccessfully reattached after being cut off with a machete in a bar fight, would glare at you chefs knife in hand like he wanted to kill you when you ate the lunch he’d put together. There were zero complaints about the catering.
