Bank of Melbourne: Tower of cards
To demonstrate that with Bank of Melbourne you no longer needed a bank card for ATM withdrawals we decided to put these bank cards to another use. A giant tower of cards was built by artist and musician Noel Crombie, of the legendary bank Split Enz, and detonated after a timer hit zero after several days countdown.
A radio PR partnership, outdoor, and online advertising drove people to a website where they could register their details to one of the thousands of unique numbered cards in the tower construction. Upon destruction the 5 cards closest to a target on the floor recieved cash prizes.
